How to help disabled and deaf children in Ukraine
The Ukrainian Resource and Development Centre (URDC) at Grant MacEwan College is working to improve education for deaf children and disabled children in Ukraine, which lags behind other industrialized countries in care and educational opportunities for handicapped children. URDC is also involved in student and faculty exchanges between Ukraine and Canada.
Tax deductible donations can be made to URDC through the Grant MacEwan College Foundation office, 7-249 10700 104th Ave., Edmonton, Alta., T5J 4S2. Phone 780-497-5533. Donors can specify which projects they would like to support. Phone URDC: 497-4373.
