hi all,
sorry if this thread isn't in the right spot. I wasn't sure where it's suppose to go. But I was curious about something.

How does the government affect you at all levels? meaning at a national, state and local level?

I heard my parents talking about it and I couldn't really understand what they were talking about by that. I was just curious to know.

One thing for certain, it affects the amount of income you have after you pay your taxes.

Not only that is affect your income by the all the hidden taxes you pay in your phone bills etc ! Read your phone and see what you pay! I pay $13.00 or more every month in taxes on my phone bill!!
 
Taxes is what is preventing me from buying a house, getting a better education, a few other things.
 
It affects my teaching job and deaf childrens' lives.
