How do you deal with other worker who pass gas too much?

How about if you type on a paper about his farting problem, then put it on the floor as long as he is not at the present so that he could read the note without your signature (just a very short note)? I would definitely not advise you to talk to him because of the harassment policy - who know if you will get a pink slip on your desk. Good luck! I think I better wear a spacesuit if I have - to avoid the horrible smell. hee hee hee.

Actually your co-worker could have a condition called gasteornities *sp?* It is a condition which causes gas buildup in the tummy.

I would calmly and very nicely suggest to him to go see his doctor. Doctors sometimes prescribes pills and sometimes tells you to take a medicine to help relieve gas in the tummy.

Mind you neither one is a cure-all but please dont give this guy a hard time for something that may be medically wrong with him. Also I know for a fact that sometimes after surgery it causes gas problems.

I had that problem and still sometimes do after having my tubes done.

How would you feel if it became you with the problem and you became the butt of everyone jokes?

I don't know about anyone else, but I sure wouldn't want someone to post on the internet about my medical problems. Gas is not something that anyone can really control. I know if I saw someone posting about it for the whole world to see I would be extremely upset. I really don't think that this thread is very funny at all.

I was just making a little joke about wearing a spacesuit. You are right - I really did not think that it wouldn't be that not funny at all. I was just making a little humor. Nothing more. In the reality, if I know someone at work, I would never put his/her name on the post.

racheleggert - Suppose, someone would come to you to talk about your gas problem, that would be very insult for her/him to bring this up to you. I would think that you could talk to a EEEO counselor about dealing with this guy so that you wouldn't get a pink slip (layoff) or get fired. If you plan to talk to your boss, it is probably not a good idea because he might be his "best friend." Who knows. The only problem is that any company must have a zero tolerance for sex harrassment. Maybe, the EEEO might be the one that you could talk to. (EEEO stands for Equal Employment and Educational Opportunity)

How about if Banjo sends a big cork in the mail, and put it on a desk for his surprise Christmas present? :booty: :boink: :giggle:

spotaneous combustion!

I suggest ya to put a big sign behind his back saying "WARNING: flammable gas, do not smoke"
