Hello. 
I am a college student studying ASL. Yes, I read the post about coming on board just to find out basic facts about the deaf community, but I want personal experiences from real people, not just nameless, faceless stats. I hope to teach Special Ed. someday and I want to be bilingual to help deaf children and also to teach sign to kids with language and processing problems. (I would also like to form friendships within the deaf community so that I can improve my ASL! I really need help!)
