Hello all 
! My name is Jordan and I am currently studying Deaf Education at Michigan State University! I am actually studying my student teaching in about a month at Indiana School for the Deaf! I am dedicated to helping teach deaf children! I was wondering if anyone who is fluent in ASL would be willing to Skype with me to give me some practice! I have the teaching part down pack of Deaf Education but ASL is where I am struggling! I really don't want my language difficulties to hinder the children's learning! to AllDeaf forum. If you can stick around and learn about our deaf and hard of hearing perspectives and Deaf Culture. You might learn how to work with Deaf children. Most hearing teachers tried to make deaf children be like them as hearing and we had to suffer not having enough accommodations or no accommodations as moral deafies or HOH. So signing is very important for us to learn ASL and to able to understand in the classrooms with ASL teachers or have an ASL interpreter in the classrooms.
