What ever happened to your site on Cued Speech? I have a parent who is interested in it for her hoh son. Cued Speech.com isn't very interesting and doesn't give too much info other then the basics.

Oh geesh, that was a LOOONG time ago!

I now see it as cuem or cued English rather than cued speech. Cued Speech is a misnomer as it implies that it shows sounds when in reality, it shows phonemes, not sounds. Admittedly, saying that cued speech shows "sounds" is a lot easier to explain since many people don't really understand how languages work. Hearing people tend to think of phonemes as sounds and they get confused when I tell them phonemes aren't sounds.

As for my cued speech website, I no longer run it but later, I'll work on developing a cued language website.
