I am starting a magazine for young writer's, and I need some help on a particular section. I am trying to aim a part of the section for deaf people, and I need some people that would be able to help. If you would be able to help, please respond, even if you just have names you would give the section. You can also post questions here.

where is the audience supposed to be located as this forum seems to be more international than other forums... with many users located in different countries all over the world...

more stats on the range of young adults or teens? college type or working young adult type and etc

type of maz fiction, sci-fi, non, poetry, and so on?!?!?!?

more info could be useful as its just toooooo general

Sry about the generalness. The magazine is aimed toward new writers, but is going to be in paper form on a Christian college campus in Chattanooga, TN. The secondary purpose of the section is to increase the ability of the hearing readers to understand the deaf by showing the way deaf culture works (IE: communication styles, learning differences, or even differences in what they like). This is hopefully a section that will make it easier for the hearing people to approach deaf persons and engage in a conversation instead of being flustered by the way deaf people talk. And also to help them avoid some of the big don'ts of conversing with deaf or HOH.
The theme will change each issue, although the section for the deaf will be permanent. I have spoken to one deaf person by IM about it, but she seemed too flighty in conversation to be a good candidate for the position. She didn't seem to be able to stay in one subject long enough for me to explain what I needed. I need someone who is able to understand the culture, and will be able to put his/her ideas into a concise format. I would try to keep the section to about one or two legal sized pages unless the theme for the issue is deaf works. I am planning on having that out the friday before our school's Deaf Appreciation Week. Anyways, I just got a little ahead of myself. That is the best concise explanation I can give.
