I live in Iowa and recently started to take ASL classes online. I've always wanted to learn to sign and I decided the time was finally right to do so. I'm interested in learning more about the deaf culture and making new friends in he deaf community!

to AllDeaf forum. **sigh** It would be better if you take ASL in the real life class like in the community college or Iowa Hearing Society. Trying to learn ASL online is not always practical to learn. Learning how to sign in person is better than online. That is my feeling. Maybe you can go to the Deaf social events and you can learn how to do sign correctly in the right way to sign.
