Most people on here is hearing i'd imagine... Including myself
i do not know anything about deaf culture. Except that lights flicker when you get a phone call. All that I know in asl is the alphabet. I dont know what would offend you so sorry in advance. I was debating whether or not to put I like music on my about me . .-. Excuse my awkwardness. My brother is hoh but he pretty much doesnt know much about deaf culture like me

Idk, I think there are a lot of hearing ASL students that come and go. Then there are hearing relations or those otherwise tied to the deaf community like interpreters, but a lot of Deaf people too. Some HoH, some deaf since birth, some late deafened. I've noticed all kinds of people with various backgrounds in Deaf and other cultures. What made you seek it out?

First off nice to meet you jellopudding. I'm deaf and it takes a lot to offend me...lol So if you have any questions please, feel free to ask. And there is a good mix from what I've seen on this forum but a lot of deaf/HOH people as well. I hope you will feel as welcome as I have and stick around a learn some of our culture.

And if you feel too awkward to ask directly on the forum, by all means you can send me a private message. Since you took the time to seek us out to learn about our world, I would be more than happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
