Call me Ranandar or Randy
I am 55, been HOH since youth, now moving on to extra HOH.
I have severe tinnitus and no hearing at 4KHz.
I lipread subconsciously, now as an adult maybe more consciously.
It helps to fill in the gaps understanding speech you know.
I don't have a H.A. (yet) Not really interested in getting one.
Most of you can probably understand.
I like flying electric radio control airplanes.
I play a mean Stratocaster but quietly as loud sounds hurt.
It was a pleasant surprise to find other HOH musicians.
I came here to learn more about lipreading and possibly ASL.
I am finding much more.
I really liked reading "What Ticks You Off (Most) About Hearies?"
Thanks guys.
