Hearing Impaired Songwriter

I have been a professional musician/songwriter my entire adult life inspite of a 60% hearing loss in each ear. I have recently just signed my first contract for a song I wrote, which will be released world-wide in 2009. So many people over the years have come up to me and said "I was told because I have a hearing loss that I couldn't play an instrument, or sing". I am writing this post as living proof that if you have a desire in your heart to do something, then God himself put that dream there and not to let anyone, or anything stop you or stand in your way.
