I am putting together a proposal for a large public art project for a facility that serves the hearing impaired. I work with the medium of lenticular imagery which creates the illusion of depth (similar to a hologram) as well as motion. The two ideas I have are to have a 3D photo of a mouth silently pronouncing a word or a hand gesturing a sign. The actual project will expand on these modes of communication, this will just be an example.

I think I know where to find resources for more standard phrases but I was wondering if someone wanted to share a favorite slang sign. Not naughty necessarily but something not found in the common lexicon. Perhaps something counter cultural. I don't know how you would communicate it to me, perhaps a webcam or series of 2-3 still images could do the trick. Or maybe there is a website. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
