This is one of the best and funny books I have ever read.....:laugh2: having had a lab, who was retarded ,we can relate to some of the stories and cry at the ending... If you ever had a dog or are thinking of getting a dog, this is a must read that was a very goood book! I love it!!!!!!!! it made me cry and laugh!!!! Best book ever !!!:thumb:

I have read when I first bought that book from Borders where I work at and man it was really awesome story I ever read and I evern laughed and cried alot!!! I am senstive abt it due to that I am animal lover myself!! It was so good that mom bought another books for my brother and other one I can't remmy who, tho...

Glad u had post this abt it!!! It was awesome and I must say it was the best ever! I recommoned (sp?) for anyone who are animal lover should read that book to understnad!! That dog was try to be best as hard as he can be! I can understand that but man so cute and funny tho! But sad at the part....

I have a copy of the book, it was touching made me laugh and cry. I like yellow lab one of my fave dogs. I do have Lucky dog in my life, my uncle is the owner of him. I always pay the dog visits and take him out for fun. Marley and Lucky have very similiar characteristics. I love spending time with Lucky, he's a great dog. Very loveable and attentive, he goes crazy when he see's me. I can go on forever about how loyal these dogs make a wonderful family pet. They like children too.
Lucky's my charmer whenever I feel let down by someone or guy trouble Lucky's my comforter.
 
Yes it is a hilarious book, you should get a book called Dog Whisper by Cesar Millian. :)
 
That book should come with a box of kleenex! Its great but like all animal books or movies you know whats coming at the end.I cant take it cryed my eyes out for hours.My husband wouldnt read it.Our dear and Departed Taffy was so much like Marley.She would chew phone wires constantly.I thought I had the solution to it.We had to go out so i figured I'll fix her.Coated phone wires with Tabsco sauce,we came home to find her licking it off.HA!

No kidding, that would be an idea for a book to come with a packet of tissues LOL... TamiSam , you were a lab owner cool. I can imagine how heartbreaking it was to lose Taffy. That's a cute story, Taffy licked the tabsco sauce, these labs never give up do they? Lucky 's the same way, he still acts like a puppy, even though he's 5 years old. He still chews shoes, plants, digs holes once in awhile. My uncle is not happy about those holes, but Lucky's getting better by not digging so much.
 
Since we all appear to be sharing lab stories, I have one. My current lab, when we were gone out to lunch, ate his way through the kennel and tried to open the door with his teeth to get out to the lake. One that didn't work he ate the locks off the window and opened the window and got out Labs are so smart. Anyway I did read Marley and Me. It's one of the best books I've read. I cried my head off at the end when Marley died.

I bought this book last week, it was soooo hilarious to read. In the end of this book I cried.

I gave this book to my mom today, so she can read it in her own time.
 
i have last summer.....(Dec to March here in NZ)
very good book........almost felt like i know the dog as 'mine'
