Thank you, Sosie. I hope as many people as possible get to read this.

You are welcome!
My friend sent me this yesterday. I liked it... and I already have printed it out and put it on the wall in my mini office, to get myself movtivated to exercise more.... Handbook 2011 rules!!!
:ty:, BecLak..

Those are some nice rules to live by, but I seriously doubt I will follow every single one of them, LOL.

HANDBOOK 2011

Health:
1. Drink plenty of water. I will try to drink more at least. I'm addicted to caffeine.
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar. I skip breakfast, sometimes eat lunch, and I usually eat a little bit of something for dinner.
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.. Do free eggs from the chicken house count? (I am allowed to take 3 flats of double-yolk eggs per week, we average over 300 flats of eggs per week). I plan to squeeze in more fruit at least. I eat very few vegetables.
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy Not a bad plan. The Red Bull should help with the first E though.
5. Make time to pray. I've just been given a book from my church on how to pray - better.
6. Play more games I've been playing the Wii a bit more lately.
7. Read more books than you did in 2010 . I only about 4 or 5 more books. Not sure how this is gonna work with me working 6 days a week.
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day Does sitting on the toilet taking care of business count?
9. Sleep for 7 hours. Impossible for this confirmed insomniac.
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk daily. And while you walk, smile. Done. I do this 3 times a day, walking in the chicken houses looking for eggs that have been laid outside the nests.

Personality:
11. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
I may not have to, but it sure would feel nice to be able to go to Europe just for a week just because you can.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment. This will need work as I am a high-strung person.
13. Don't over do. Keep your limits. Without school, and now working six days a week, I should stay well within my limits, however I have considered looking for a second job.
14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. That's just my problem, no one takes me seriously!
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip. I don't gossip, I just listen to it over Sunday dinner.
16. Dream more while you are awake Don't try this if your paycheck comes from Tyson.
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.. Yes considering I am statistically in the 10% portion of the world's wealthiest people. (if you have Internet, you are considered 'wealthy' by world standards.)
18. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness. An important truth to remember in ANY relationship you have.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others. I don't waste my energy and time on people that don't give a damn. I just move on.
20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present. That's a tough one.
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you. It's difficult to stay positive in difficult times, but it's also worth it to try and find some happiness in your darkest days. Reach out to friends or family. Whoever you find comfort with.
22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime. Things rings true for me in a sense as I am always analyzing things trying to find a specific reason for it.
23. Smile and laugh more. I try to make others laugh. It's the best rush for me.
24. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree... If it's a pointless argument, I just walk away from it.

Society:
25. Call your family often. I live with them, and I see my extended family almost weekly. I see my aunt and uncle daily at work.
26. Each day give something good to others. I try to give happiness, help, and hope to those in need.
27. Forgive everyone for everything.. Easier said than done, but not entirely impossible. I've found it is best to do this in baby steps when you are ready to forgive.
28. Spend time w/ people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6. My grandparents are over 70 and my cousins children are 3 and 4.
29. Try to make at least three people smile each day. It is my daily effort.
30. What other people think of you is none of your business. I'm not a preppy person, but I was raised to always be aware of what others think of you and to make sure that they see you in a good light. It's been incredibly difficult to move away from this kind of thinking.
31. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch. You're right it won't, I don't have health insurance!

Life:
32. Do the right thing! I've always tried to do the right thing, no matter how difficult it may be, however it doesn't make me an angel because I am far from it. I have my skeletons too.
33. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful. Does this include people with ugly personalities?
34. GOD heals everything. Yup.
35. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.. I can vouch for this. I've been dealt some wild cards in the last few years. Good situations can change in a split second, bad situations can be relieved in the strangest of ways.
36. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.. Do I get a perfect attendance certificate for showing up to life every day?
37. The best is yet to come.. Cliche' but true.
38. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it. Yup.
39. Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy. I'm not sure what my inner most is, but I feel content right now.

Last but not the least:
40. Please Forward this to everyone you care about, I just did. You got this via email didn't you? ;)
