Halloween Safety Tips from WIndmill Animal Hospital

I was not happy when My old kitty did run away during the halloween day without realizing that he was gone. When i gave candy to kids, and spotted the kitty tried to come into my door and it was my kitty!! He looked like He saw some ghosts. It wasnt the first time. He did that maybe twice in a row or three of years. I think.. Now I am more concerned that i have black kitty at home. So i hope my black kitty would get scared of the ringing bell door and run up to the upstairs like my other kitty.
 
We don't have a cat since out last one died of old age, but I used to worry a lot at Halloween as he was used to going outside when he wanted.

Don't keep door open. Go out, close door, give kid candy, then go back inside. No worry about cats wanting to be part of Halloween party.

One of my deceased kitty was good at escaping. :( Thank god He was OK but he passed away due to a chronic pancreatitis last year. I wasnt sure if it caued by hitting from some object or somewhere. I dont believe in eating fatty food that caused it. Pancreatitis is mystery.
