El Paso/Las Cruces News, Weather, Sports and Entertainment - KDBC 4 - We are CBS! | Gov appoints new regent at School for the Deaf
Santa Fe developer James Borrego has been appointed by Gov. Bill Richardson to serve as a regent at the New Mexico School for the Deaf.
Borrego, a partner at Borrego Construction, is a graduate of Santa Fe High School and has an engineering degree from New Mexico State University. He has served on a number of boards and commissions.
Richardson says Borrego's contracting and planning background will be an asset to the board of regents at the School for the Deaf.
Borrego replaces Margo Manaraze Wagner. He will serve the remainder of her unexpired term through Dec. 31, 2012.
