and of course, people who owned the orginal Playstation were bonkers over crazy and awesome titles like Capcom's titles including Street Fighter series, Mega Man series, Dino Crisis series, Breath of Fire, and of course, Resident Evil series, the most popular series of all.
Certainly I've been a huge fan of the series ever since I've played Resident Evil 2 for the first time on the Nintendo 64 version. such awesome storylines with fanastic characters, sweet n' stunning graphics with cool cutscenes and tons of heat packin' weapons and huge and tough monsters and mutants, what else would you ask for? claire redfield's cleavage? Jill Valentine's mini-skirt with silky panties showing? no problem! of course...if only Capcom has the guts to do it.
Anyway, Capcom has just announced today that the new Resident Evil series will no longer be exclusive for the Nintendo GameCube and that Resident Evil 4, the title that would arrive on the GameCube around January 11th 2005 would also be hitting the Playstation 2 in the middle of next year.
So what about the Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil Zero? would they hit the PS2 also? who knows...but it's good news for the people who don't own the gamecube but the PS2 because I wouldn't be surprised if it has more features in the PS2 version than the GC version doesn't...you know? like, RE Code: Verconia, on the Dreamcast, doesn't have the same features as the PS2 version does because it included a 10 mintue ending and a couple cutscenes that weren't in the DC version, and even some battle modes that weren't in the DC version also.
so that's what I'm saying with the difference between both versions because everybody loves the PS2 more than the GC...that's the point there...lol
anyway, congrats to PS2 owners...you don't have to play those RE spin offs anymore. :P

P.S. there were rumors that RE4 would hit the Xbox also but Capcom hasn't said a word about that yet so right now they are workin on the Playstation 2 version.
