I want change my primary to my recovery address..i looked up how to do it but these questions were asked 5yrs back and no updates It says to close primary down re-open new one which I tried but I still end up back with primary address..
earlier this week ended up with twenty thousand emails so closed it down re-open another but teki put rediculus name and said I could change it in my own time but from what I read from others this can.t be done but those questions in google forum are 5yrs..i wondering if google has updated so can be done but I not seen answer..

I had to shut one of mine down too. I had several different addresses for different reasons, like one for personal, one for work, one for junk, etc. and at one point I could no longer remember the login or recovery passwords for the junk one so that one is lost now. Oh well.

that happened to me I give myself same password now so don't forget...all I want do is swap my recover email with primary...I already closed the primary I used for years but techy was getting me flustered
