VALENTINE'S Day was both a day of work and romance for President Macapagal-Arroyo. And what could be a more fitting way of sharing love than be with the less fortunate and handicapped and special children.
Mrs. Arroyo started her day with a visit to the Philippine Institute for the Deaf and a special education center in Pasay City, where she gamely joined the song and dance number offered by the deaf and special children.
Using sign language, they serenaded the President with her favorite Carpenter's song "You." Another group sang "Welcome to the Family" while another danced the "Pandanggo sa Ilaw."
