Now will liberals speak out against this? Im waiting to hear ted kennedy and nancy pelosi responce on arabs attacking our guards. If they dont this will give a clear message that liberal democrats think its ok for arabs to attack our men but its not ok for our men to attack them.

Ravensteve, ALL of the prisoners there are held without charges, to be held indefinitely, meaning the rest of their lives...without access to lawyers, family, hearings, etc.
If you were in their shoes, what would YOU do?
That darn Patriot Bill was rammed through Congress without anyone being allowed to read it first, and it has frightening paralellsl to Hitler's Enabling Act, almost the exact same wording.

That patriot act is protecting us.It protect us from future terror attacks on our home land. Its making progress because more and more arabs are being arrested by the FBI before they can carry out another attack.

The answer to your question is this.Remember when the soldiers dishonor the koran? But yeah we have democrats blamimg george bush for that.. But when the prisoners attacked the guards they wont say anything about it.

Why should they?

The powers that be should only care about how U.S. personnel conduct themselves. Obviously we don't need to worry about how prisoners conduct themselves, they're prisoners, that's how they behave.

In any case, I prefer the word "detainee" because that's a more fitting description of their legal status (or lack thereof).

How sad. Even if most of them are guilty, each one should be entitled to a fair trial. Period.

Did the Nazis gave US men a fair trial? Did the Koreans give US men a fair trial? Did the Japaneese US men a fair trial? Not to mention during our civil war nether side gave the men a fair trial. So why should we give these terrorist prisoners a fair trial?

Yes you do. Your country can be tried for Geneva Convention War Crimes for violating P.O.W. agreements. I would support having everyone in America who violates the treaty that WE SIGNED tried for war crimes if any violations of that treaty are caused by us, and likewise for the enemy.
