Gallaudet University's Sorenson Lee and Communication Center will be opened for everyone on August 25th! There's already have several types of department are ASL/Deaf Studies, Communication Studies, Ling., and HSL. It would be awesome for more space for everyone access classroom and general rooms. Same as before like Student Academic Center, it is very new place for everyone to see. The Future is Today!
Tell me what you think of this, hope you can visit there if you plan, I guessed that there's new visible place on campus since many years, before was old and shortly building, was hard for find a place for room and crowded. If you went there years ago, it would be different days from the past to now.
After opening, there will be planned to demolished Mary T. Building which is next to HMB, and old library was very small and dusty make people not comfortable there. Library will be replaced of Peet Hall and one more add academic building in near future. Then it will have extended gallaudet mall grass and pathway where can people have relax, event, and party space. It may be more visible screen and ad. like see science fiction movie. There is gallaudet mall would be look great like CSUN had huge area middle between bookstore, library, sierra building and science building, other university such as Duke, Yale, University of Texas and Florida. Peet Hall will move to middle of area where parking area will be removed cuz of safety reason. Two Ballards will make look complex residental, shape of "L". Parking lot will move to near MSSD and end of 6th street, but it is possible or not.
What would you see on campus next 50 or 100 years? Would be much better in the future than before?
