Gallaudet University's Identity Struggle Continues

my goodness. where can signing deaf can go if every college is going to be about listening and speech? Yes, Gallaudet is for every deaf, but don't they still need to know ASL?

Actually, they have the right not to. If they wanted a spoken language interpreter they would certainly have that right.
 
A wee bit off topic but read the contents of the link I've provided. It is long, an eye-opener; a sign of the changing times......I have not read it all, just parts of it and it is a fast read...maybe 200 pages.

It's under 100 pages. I should know because I have just finished reading it. Funny, it's my first thesis I've read. Anyway, thanks to Tousi for sharing this information. It's indeed an eyeopener.
