No wonder I had figured it on Amtrak website that there is no ride (San Joaquin line) straight from San Francisco/Berkeley to Los Angeles but have to take off in Bakersfield and transfer to bus to L.A.

Texas are work on bring Tri-Rail from DFW to Houston to San Antonio to Austin to DFW, there go on... They should done it 2 decades ago. They drop out because of cheap Southwest Airline without think that gas rise cost would happen until nearly decade ago. Sheesh.
