This is posted information from someone who already looked into the information given by someone in Argonia Kansas, a city of 594 people where they're also giving away free land.

Dannie - Canada

I found an interesting website after I wrote about Argonia, and there are actually 14 Kansas town who have similar free land give aways. There is also free commercial property available in Kansas. Check out http://www.kansasfreeland.com/

That is a good website that explains it more in detail. If Argonia is too small, there are even some larger towns that are offering free land. In Argonia they will help pay your taxes for the first five years. I'd still prefer St. Laurent or Gallaudet, myself!

this land is smack in the middle of Tornado alley

NO Shyt! Everyone has bailed out because of this. I aint building a house to have it destroyed and I am pretty sure the home insurance is not paying a dime once that happens :wtf:

What about underground homes....earth-bermed homes? I saw one once and it was cool!

they are giving away free lands because its torando zone ..

just beware.. no insurance will cover.. maybe little.
pay alot of taxes..
red water..
:giggle:

There is nothing wrong to be living in the middle of Kansas where I came from...

I raised over 20 years in the big town and the tornado has not hit since...

it is a good investment to reside there for free property taxes for five years. The small local government may not afford to provide me ASL interpreters includes traveling costs from the big city. :deaf:

In North Virginia, the new house with four-bedroom and two-garage costs about $700,000.

In Kansas, the new homes with three-bedroom and one/two-garage costs about $135,000 to $150,000. Naturally, there is a very cheap cost for home insurance.

We may move and purchase there only if there is a good job with better pay and benefits. Yeah, that would be hell boring for me since there is no another deaf residents in the small town....

land out in the middle of nowhere that you'll have to pay 1000's to bring power to and pay taxes on. I'm all for free land, but there should be a way to reduce the cost of setting up a home on it if they truly want to give it away for free.

Even cheaper if you build the home yourself, but you better know how to do some framing.

yeah dixie i have been to kansas and its very FLAT... nothing but grass, trees, etc.. hard to believe its not heavily populated like arkansas.. i wonder why..

Kansas is not the only one that is in tornado alley.. Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and among others are on the list as well.

I want that land, and will set up the mini park called "HUMAN FLY ZONE". Of course, customers will have a chute backpack. Once they fly, and land in safely by using the parachute. Cool idea? :afro:

I'l tell ya what Kansas has - a really nice presidential suite on the 50th floor of the Hyatt (stayed there over night once, it felt a bit like a poor kid getting the royal treatment for once, lol)

Then theres ducks, snow, geese, nie pheasant hunting, mule deer, and the winds are perfect for hangliding - no mountains to run into! LOL

LOL dixie.. how true... and playing kites with nothing in the way! perfect! its always windy there.. :D
