Found baby bird...

I went out for the day today...went to the bank then Walmart for groceries...spent time with my nieces and nephews...then when I arrived home...I was carrying groceries to the front porch..I noticed something small underneath my swing on front porch...I looked closer...

I saw the baby bird lying on the ground...:eek:

I had to put groceries up first,...then I ran to restroom and threw up...bez of cancer...

Then I took the baby bird with me..took it at the vet hospital...I explained to the girl about the baby bird...I told her I couldnt stay bez of cancer..she understood and took care of the baby bird...

I dont know if the baby bird is either dead or survived...it didnt move anyway...but I felt it was inappropriate to throw it away in trash..I refused to do that...I honor animals...bring it to vet...have them to bury it in proper way.
 
Awww you're too sweet to take the baby bird to the vet...baby bird may fallen out of the nest. Poor little thing! You did the right thing...we did that with squrriell two winters ago. I am not sure if the squrriell lived or died. At least we did something.

Actually there's no nest..I think the baby bird flew and accident hit the brick column (spell?) on my front porch..:dunno:

I feel so sorry for this precious bird. Poor thing! I am interesting to be either animal cop or animal shelter for adoption or vet asst. First, I plan to volunteer at the animal shelter this fall...just for part time...

It's not stressful or pressure job...it will be good for me to volunteer there at first...and then I will decide which one I want to be for my future career. :D
 
I wish I had done that to save the 2 baby birds I found in the past,
by putting them to the vet. But I was young and can't drive....

That was sweet of you.
