When Paul stood on Mars Hill (a place where many gathered to discuss different religions and philosophy) sharing the Gospel, he did not belittle their beliefs but established common ground with them and then gave them the Gospel (Acts 17). Further Paul states in 1 Corinthians, "For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more." He further states, "I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some."

We must remember as Christians to do as Paul states in Ephesians. "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those of the household of faith." Mel Gibson said things he surely regrets, and most of the world will not hear his apology. We of the Way hear you, Pope Benidict, and forgive you. Let's look for common ground with our neighbors, so that we may lead them to Christ. Without love, we have nothing.

It's still the Gospel of Peace.
