Or some men do the same thing.

What do you do when you see your black moustache? :hmm:

Do tell! :fruit:

I go get them waxed when I get my eyebrows waxed. Then I try to keep it up with a pair of tweezers. :giggle:

owww tweezerrrr hurt on the lip! lol WAX WAX WAX! lol

 I obviously misspelled tweezers!!! :ty: going back to edit my post.

Tweezers do Hurt. and I do go back and get them wax when I can no longer deal with the tweezers or keep my eyebrows shaped.

Unfortunately because I take medication and I started my period when I was very young, both of them don't help me now with my menopause.

I started growing a little mustache because of hormones from both the medication and the menopause.

Yes, it's a chore to wax & tweeze but it gets much lighter as the years go on.

A suggestion to you all ladies - don't wax/tweeze or bleach before you start your period. This causes your skin to inflame as your skin is very sensitive due to the hormones. Wait after your period cycle finishes.

So that is what causes the bumps after waxing? Sometimes my lips does and sometimes not. Gonna have to take notes on that!!

Yup, that's what causes the bumps because of the hormones. I've learned from years of waxing at home & found out later on from going to the salon and asked the lady there about that. She explained hormones makes the skin sensitive.

I wax at home using a DIY kit - Sally Hansen Wax Strips. It works great because inside the box has a blue liquid that soothes the skin after it's waxed.

I'm cheap in a way. I always get the Sally Hansen bikini wax kit because I can cut the strip into smaller pieces and save myself a lot of money. I bought that kit over 2 years ago and I still have about 4 long strips left. [inside the box was like 7 strips]

Oh oh, don't wax an hour or two before you go out to a special event. You'll get a really pink upper lip. Do it the night before.

I remember my very first salon visit and a really red upper visit! Everyone was asking me "What happened to your lip?!" I faked saying I ate really hot chili! :giggle:

Interesting! thanks mrs bucket. I need to pay attention to my skin if they are overly sensitive when i do bleach my moustache right before my period. Like blueblue mentioned the bumps that i got, sometimes.

i always do tweeze my eye brows.

Sometimes I bleached my upper lip but I stop doing that because I got sensitive to the smell of the solution so I kept waxing.

I just hate hate hate the "anticipation" of pulling the wax strip. It's like "Ah Ah Ah.. ready ready ready.. pull!!!!!!!!!" YEOW!

Thanks! Will make sure to keep that in mind next time I wax. :)

I know! I went to the mall once and had my eyebrows lip and a few whiskers on my chin removed. My husband and kids kept laughing at me. Telling me how red my lips and face was from the waxing. :giggle:
