Central Florida Deaf Services and Polk County Public Safety will present a hurricane seminar for the deaf, deaf-blind, and hard of hearing from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 2715 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland.

Participants will learn where to go and what to do if they must evacuate their homes to prepare for a pending storm and how to create a hurricane survival kit.

But I can hear just fine and don't know ASL, even though I'm hearing impaired...
