Hello,

Just few days ago, I don't know how or why all my favorites suddenly disppeared! So I tried to save it when I remember what website was. It won't let me to save it. Any idea how to fix this?

Any suggestion or feedbacks would be appericated!
 
Yes cuz I love tabs than open more windows. :)

But problem that my favorite is gone and won't let me save it! UGH!

I had numerous problems with Firefox and found out that I had almost no problems once I un-installed Firefox and went back to Internet Explorer and ever since, I have been fine.
 
I don't have a problem with FireFox lately but only favorite to be saved. Other than that I love it. I love the tabs...IE don't have it!!! I hate open each windows!! UGH!

One possibility is to do a 'system restore', going back to a date before this had happened. There could be other ways to fix this such as to be sure 'Firefox' is updated, etc.,....

Good luck and hopefully you'll be able to see the listing of your favorites. ;)
 
I am not computer whiz...how can I do that?

It would be better to check for updates for the Firefox browser first. To do that, open up the Firefox browser, go to the Tool bar and click on 'Help' and a drop-down menu will be prompted and then click on: 'check for updates' ;)
 
I always check my firefox every week. Sometime firefox itself updates automatic. My computer is Mac. Firefox is execellence due to I used toolbar in Yahoo compose.

I can wait IE7 coming out soon which has the tabs and others.. but I currently using AOL Explorer which has all supercool tabs, features, and even IE engines I like very much, [I aint membership of AOL]. I am AT&T DSL USER.. ;)

But I heard that netscape 8.1 have two different engines which firefox or Internet Explorer you can opitions/ switch. You should give a try..

I like aol explorer browser's feature is very plain and simply without decorde too much like FireFox browser or SBC browser or Opera broswer..

Anyway, i am sorry if i brought this which is not relate this topic.. I better let you people talk as stick with this topic what LakeTahoe looking for! :)
 
Apple already have that feature built in Mac OS X....called Expose....I can see many different pages and applications in one window. By the way, I hope LakeTahoe will find a solution to the problem with Firefox. I haven't had any problems with stuff like that, except it crashes and I have to re-launch Firefox, It only happens with Alldeaf and a few other sites. I believe it's a javascript error.
 
I recently quit using Firefox because it is a MAJOR memory hog. The developers know it but won't fix it. The Linux version is slower than molasses in an igloo. So I started using Konqueror (a Unix/Linux-only browser from KDE) and I haven't looked back since. Apple Safari is based on Konqueror's rendering engine (KHTML). I want to see if I can get Gecko (the Firefox rendering engine) to work in Konqueror...

It's simple: Firefox needs to stop bragging and start fixing these stupid bugs. However, another free/open-source browser available on Windows is Mozilla Seamonkey. (It's also a web browser, e-mail client, IRC client, and HTML editor.) But please do yourself a favor and don't use IE again!

Oh, and any browser that uses the IE engine is just as vulnerable as IE, so I don't recommend those either.
 
Thanks everyone! I just downloaded what gnulinuxman just gave me. Thanks! I'll test it and see if I like it then I can uninstall the FireFox.

Yeah, I've preferred Mozilla Seamonkey over Firefox for a while now. :cheers:
