It's been happening everywhere in the past week and I saw one last friday night.

They are for real. It was actually a rocket launching at VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE... It was an AMAZING sight. The "colorful streak" was actually by the sunset reflecting off in its trail of smoke.

I saw something like that on Halloween night.. I kinda figured it was a shooting star.. then I saw it again the other night. Wondered what's up with that??

Gnarly.. that's a really awesome pix there!
 
wow, that looks like a beautiful sight, I wish I saw it in real life, too bad I missed that one! :D
