Finally got Xbox 360

Dr. Strangelove, wow you are knowledge about this stuffs than me.. hahah.. really?? White and Red is for audio, no video? I did not know that...

Oh Now I understanding what you are talking about compostie (yellow).. I guess that you are right.. :)

Unfortunately, I don't have any (BGR) on SDTV... someday I will get LCDTV OR BIG SCREEN projector HDTV..

Once again, THANK Dr. Strangelove!!!

Anyway, I better log off from AD and go to play gow on xbox 360...ttyl..
some CRT TVs have components but the picture would be alot better if on HDTV with components but either way the picture should look just fine on a CRT TV with components anyway but way better on HDTV...its up to you.

But there is no going back once you go HD. I can vouch for that. I have played with the 360 on a 50' plasma tv, 20' LCD(Gamestop\EB), 31' widescreen HDTV(720p), Projector(using VGA), and I even had the experience of playing on a SDTV recently with composite, and there is no going back.
From there, I would highly recommend any serious gamer to get a HD-capable tv. IMO, LCDs seem to be the best looking for video games, although I thought movies looked really really sweet on the 50' plasma. The reason I recommend going HD, is games like Dead Rising(very notorious for having unreadable subtitles on SDTV), and the change from composite to component or better(HDMI\DVI\VGA) for videogames. This hit me when a lot of people said they wanted component cables with the Wii, and the Wii only goes 480p. BUT i saw a comparsion of side by side 480i(?) and 480p(posted a thread about it a month or so ago) and the difference between 480i and p was almist night and day, with p(progressive) looking really good and an valuable asset to the game experience(Zelda TTP).
Really, once you go HD.... There is no going back. I know a few of us here at the ADVG forum can vouch for that.
