Finally! Dell considering AMD.

You have met my intention! I was testing to see if anyone would catch this. I will always call MacInTrash. Don't get me wrong. I had first computer by Apple. The reason I dispise MAC is because of lack available of sw, hardware, etc. All have to be special ordered. Waste my time! If you like Mac, the go for it. I don't care anyway.

P.S. Diehardbiker...Mac is not trash....I have been using Mac since 1993. So, please respect the Mac users out there....I have sharp eyes and I can read the forums and be careful what you say out there.

Sure, Windows 95 is faster than Win2k or xp as if running on same computer. How about DOS, they DO go faster than Win95! I know that, howcome? That is simply because they have less features for CPU to run off. I can say, Win XP, on other hand is faster than window95. I have good example... when it comes to installation, or adjustments, or new driver installation... Most of the time Windows 95 REQUIRES FREQUENT REBOOT, and that WASTE alot of time! XP on other hand do not require frequent reboots! If you change the networking setting in XP, it will update itself without even reboot! Windows 95, you have to reboot in order for change to become effective.

16 bit would work just fine if there were processors that went as fast as current systems do, in 16 bit. But then you'd be limited to about 512mb ram max. Hell, everyone knows windows 95 is faster than windows 2000 or XP.

32 bit can address 4Gb of memory
64 bit can address 16Tb of memory.

You are right, tho I like Mac because of graphic design capabity, not for games. Gaming on Mac is limited, but for general software there is plenty to offer for it, so I can't complain. :) Also, I don't have to worry about viruses and spyware to deal with.

Your indeedly correct about viruses and spyware. That is all due to lack of programmers for MAC. There is solution for IBM with viruses and spyware... Go Linux! Even though Linux is open source OS, you could re-write some of code to increase your security and that is BIG advantage. Most programmers have the respect for Linux, and they generally don't want to screw with Linux owners. Most viruses writers were targeted at Bill Gate for his being greedy and have the intention to destroy Micro$oft. The battle has been ongoing for years!

Speaking for Graphics, your indeedly "was" correct and that is now outdated. IBM based PC now have as good graphics as MAC!

Don't forget that Mac OS X is based on UNIX. It's a hybrid of GUI and UNIX in one. Linux is one of the UNIX variety, and Mac OS X is based on the core of freeBSD version of UNIX. There are sooo many different variety of unix clones out there. There are several UNIX OSes that can run on Mac just like it can be on a PC. ;)
