Lady Walpole of Mannington Estate and Roy's of Dereham are joining forces for Togs for Dogs days to raise money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

On Saturday, June 9 Roy's will be offering Hearing Dogs merchandise, competitions and information as well as the chance to meet Hearing Dog Ceriand her deaf owner Barbara at the store in Yaxham Road from 10am.

Barbara and Ceri will then also be representing the charity on June 10 with more Hearing Dogs at Mannington Estate Gardens.

Lady Walpole is holding a fancy dress parade and doggy-themed treasure hunt in the beautiful gardens from noon, encouraging as many people as possible to take part by offering free entry to the gardens for anyone who comes in fancy dress.

Chloe Burgess, regional fundraiser for East Anglia will be there to answer any questions about the charity.

Hearing Dogs train unwanted dogs to assist deaf people by alerting to household sounds and alarms while providing companionship, independence and security.

The charity is looking for volunteers around East Anglia and if you would like further information on the above events, supporting the charity or would like to know how to apply for a Hearing Dog, contact Chloe on 01353 665396 or chloe.burgess@hearingdogs.org.uk or visit Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
