The England Deaf side take on Japan for the first time at Maidstone later this month. The sides meet at The Mote on Sunday, August 21, at 5pm.
England have named a 27-man squad for their sixth international outing since the side was launched two years ago.
Sussex’s Chris Burton coaches the side and Hove forward Richard Jackson will captain the team.
Japan go on to play Wales at Caerphilly on August 24 and Scotland at Pontypridd on August 28. Tickets to each game cost £5 for adults and £1 for children.
The England side played their first game in October 2003 – a 16-3 defeat against France – and since then have taken part in four other internationals against Wales and France.
Players are eligible to play for the England Deaf side with degrees of hearing loss which, under International Deaf Rugby Organisation regulations is currently combined average hearing loss of 25 decibels or more in both ears.
