I just bought mobile Element Electronics 7" Dual monitor with one built in dvd player from Circuit City for $179. I decide to try to hook one monitor (one without dvd, Either monitor would work tho cuz of A/V input jack ready) to VP and it works! I use full screen and pix look clear. It would be great for in garage or outside without lugging heavy TV set. Both monitors have built in prop stand!!

I was able to use it for my kid's PS2 gaming console hooked to the monitor in my 05' Durango with headrest clip.. It is configurable to either hook to montior w/ dvd player built in and connect to 2nd monitor for same gameplay or individually like one for movie only and other for gaming (you'll have to move the A/V input jack to other monitor) or using PS2 as a DVD movie while other watching different movie on other monitor with built-in DVD player. My kids said that the monitor pictures is much cleaner and sharper than CRT tv's screen  even though it may be a bit small.

I had to buy those because my Durango's ceiling mount Rosen Entertainment system broke. It's a ribbon inside of it that worn out from fequent opening and closing LCD monitor (ribbon cable was directly mounted from power supply/audio/DVD board to LCD monitor board, no "spiral or extended ribbon to prevent breakage just like SK2 flipscreen spiral ribbon cable that never breaks on fequent usage. Design sucks!!). I tried to find a replacment 8 1/2 inch ribbon cable (that look like white 20 pins paperthin ribbon). Many electronic store, Online and locally do not carry those. Even one of the Entertainment system/ Uphoisery installer for vehicles where my dealership had it installed for my truck could not order those part. It'll cost me $150 minimuim or more to have it shipped and repaired the obsolete system. Not worth it. Rosen Entertainment system is a "Lemon" cuz It was brand new when installed and last me 1 year and broke!! and it's out of warranty. I strongly advice any of you to avoid Dealership's "lemon" Rosen Entertainment system. best to get one from Best Buy, Circuit City or any of Electronics store that sell flip down LCD/DVDplayer. They may have better design than Rosen system.

If any of you have those Dual monitors just like mine (doesn't matter what model or make) and If it have A/V input jack on one or either monitors, you're in luck. You can experiment with VP hook up. Some of you might have DVD player either 7 inches or 9 inches screen. It'll be great for moving vp to another room or garage or outside OR as an emergency backup in case if TV or LCD TV broke down.

Oh, not a bad idea!

I read on the internet that a Viable monitor (LCD) with video built-in is good, but I found out that it contains 30 fps, but hand signing is a problem because of blurry which is impossible. The Viable's retail price is 700 bucks, but it will offer special price for hearing impaired people. I would rather to use the 7 inches monitor which is better than nothing. Smile! I think that you are brilliant!
