BALTIMORE -- Authorities said an elderly deaf man died as a result of a beating more than a week ago at a Baltimore apartment building for the disabled.
Police identified the man as Carlton Crawford, 82. Officers responded to a noise complaint on Aug. 21 and found Crawford dead on his bedroom floor at the Foxwell Memorial Apartments on Greenspring Avenue.
He had been beaten with an unknown object.
