I'm hoping to go to this event. I want to have more of my money go to non-profit organizations than to CEOs pocketing their profit. I'm happy to help those who need a helping hand. That is why I want to go to this event.

you do realize that non profits with a 501c3 tax registration are only required to show 20 % of funds go to the said assistance they are intended. 80% can be for salaries, equipment, admin etc. like the owner of the non profit has a brand new Benz and draws a 100K a year salary from a non profit that say gets $200k a year in donations

Wow, interesting...I did not realize that. It's so hard to find a reliable non profit group to donate to those days.
