POLICE SEEK CLUES IN MAN'S DISAPPEARANCE: After exhausting all leads, police sought the public's help Monday in locating a 40-year-old deaf man who has been reported missing since late December.
Rodney Texera was reported missing by his mother Dec. 21, according to a news release.
Family members say they last had contact with him on Dec. 1 via e-mail, in which he wrote that he planned to go to Oroville to help a friend move. The family has not heard from him since.
Texera is described as a white man, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 150 pounds, bald with hazel eyes and a mustache.
Anyone with information can call homicide Detective Rob Rittenhouse at 510-981-5741.
