Dynex 40 inch Flatscreen with VP 200 Closed Captioning issue

My question: I have a two year old Dynex 40 inch Flatscreen T.V. with VP 200 on it. For the last two years never had a problem with Closed Captioning issue on it.

Few time power outage... But got it taken care of until TODAY.... Can't even restore Closed Captioning settings back on for the first time in two years.

Anyone with an area of expertise are greatly appericate to give me instruction on how to get it back on.

Hey there,

You know me. ;-). You couldn't reset it back to normal? Maybe the power outages fried the captioning chip? How many years warranty does it have and you have had it for 2 years.
