I've had this idea for a few years now. Some steps have been taken to get it working but not on a small computer yet. I've just experimented with my notebook computer and hooked it up to various kinds of displays.
Here's an image of what I hope will someday be a reality.
There's no reason this can't be a reality right now if someone would just create the device.
Here are some examples:
A part of me wishes that some of those tech people will loose their hearing so they'll use their expertise toward making life for the deaf better. Imagine if the creators of the iPhone lost their hearing.

- They now have mobile devices that can use Dragon Naturally speaking.
