Go to a restaurant that is $30 a plate and above? Is that expensive for you?

Yes. Very expensive especially for someone in college, regardless of what school they go to.

Not an IVY League student, but boy is that too much per plate.

We have road kill in my neck of the woods.

My Daddy's rich so my per diem while studying is: Breakfast 25.00 Lunch 35.00 and Dinner is 50.00.....plus tips. Then everything doubles for the week-end.

correction. Not ALL ivy league students. Most ivy league students I know aren't super rich or anything like that. Most came from regular families and are a bunch of fine, hard working people. The whole thing about ivy league is just a stereotype.

Yes, 30 bucks per late is very expensive.

most? Ivy League didn't get rich from regular folks. they're rich cuz they have rich students :eek3:

OMG Not another Ivy League thread!!!! *throws hands up in the air*

$5/plate. that's as expensive as it can get for me.

Not all ivy league come from prospering families.. Seeing that they don't really make big money unless they've graduated at some point, it leaves a good deal of minority races along with some of the majority out.

Having said that, I don't mind having an expensive meal every now and then. I've dined in Sushi Gen in Little Toyko a few times, it has a word of the mouth on the street of being the finest sashimi cuisine. The evening bill being several grand is always surprising for the newcomers, but I wouldn't dine there on a frequent basis.

The occasion serves the real purpose, the rest of the time meal value is the stronger point.. If you have a thought process based on efficiency, that's all that is necessary!

Sounds like a place I should check out.

We go to nice restaurants, but not on regular basis like you do... PFH.

We don't have money to throw away.
