Woah ok to catch up.
The only criteria there is on my participants is that they be deaf! So the participants i'm meeting face to face are not 'vetted' any way, and yes i know the difference between deaf and Deaf i have done my research but thanks for that little dig, this is why there is questions regarding participants being proud to be a part of the Deaf community.
My supervisor has cleared me to collect data in this manner so my university does not have a problem with it.
to Reba: I know that this is not going to be representative sample of the deaf community and i am using other sources to gain participants this is merely one of my sources but thanks for the input
