Digital Cable TV vs. Satellite TV

Had them both and the digital cable is much better because you don't have to worry about the damn signal going out on a good movie/show in bad weather like you do with the dish.

Yea, I agree.

I used had Dish before then I hate it.

I would not go anywhere near Qwest...they are such ripoffs! Even for phone!

Same as RCN, many my neighbor people cancelled their acct and changed to Comcast when Comcast founded in Philly...

Who hell cares about Sunday ticket... I just rather to watch on right channel such as Fox sport, ESPN and ABC sport, also we can go to football stadium and enjoy to watch it.

Now, I don't need Directv and it got fuck up from bad weather.

I am hardcore fan of football plus I currently lived in DC and almost impossible to see Eagles game on FOX/CBS, so I want to have NFL Sunday Ticket and I can watch Eagles games every Sunday! Lets go Eagles!!!!

Look...we live in NW of NY state and we get snow and rains...it get fuck up ONLY when the snow or rain is HEAVY. How often? Maybe I would say 1 to 5 times in winter season and with rain depends how often we get the rain probably just once or twice for few mintues to one hour.
We loved our Direct TV and had it since late 2000 and had no problem since then! :) Also local cable is more expenisve and always increase every year and DTV don't.

Digital Cable from Cox Commication are good enough with InDemand offers many schdule of PPV's events than regular cable, channel choices, and less working.

I thought of satellite tv but I don't want to be potato couch with 400 channels...and they might cost more than their saying on TV commerical? No internet?.

Another advantage for directv is that you can move the dish to new residence without going though the hassle of appointment to disconnect and reconnect the cable service, and depending on local cable policy, sometimes the wait can be as long as 2 weeks. DirecTV, you can take the dish and reciever down yourself and set it up in new residence yourself. All you need to know is basic handyman skill, and using compass/angle meter to get it point to where the satellite is. I have done that, when Im done set up the dish at my new home, I call DTV to update the billing address and then I'm done!

True...stallite tv would suit for house owner than apartment rental?.

Yea, they do but DSL...

DSL is totally whacked...

i have digital cable for internet and tv.

i dont want to have satellite dish cuz i learned how bad the signals go during the storms.

I have basic cable TV. Digital TV is too expensive and I cannot get satellite TV because I don't have a patio of my own so I can't install one of my own. We plan to move out to a bigger apartment after my gf gets a job. Hopefully we get a patio and stuff like that. We will still get basic cable TV because it's better than antenna or no cable.
