Digital Animation and Deaf Education?

i am a graduate student and my thesis is developing a 3D animation to aid young hearing impaired students to better pick up reading lips. My goal is to give them a tool which will aid and accelerate their skills in interpreting lip reading and facial expressions. i am interested in getting anytype of constructive feedback/ criticism.....espically if you have a knowledge of lip reading.
 
for one thing, dont say hearing impaired. U have no idea how many people dislike that word.

its no problem.. deaf or hard of hearing is the proper way to call us. :)
As for the thesis u are making, it sounds good, i lip read but not as good as many other people does. I don't really have alot of comments to say about this. Sorry, hopefully other people will be more helpful than me. :)
