My trip to Detroit during last week of March/first week of April for WWE WrestleMania 23 event... I would like to prepare myself such as airplane tickets, hotels, etc... If anyone lives in Detroit, I would like to know which hotels are much closer to Ford Field, also which hotels are much cheaper... If u have any info, PM me link or here... Thanks!!

I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. Do you mean you just went to Detroit few months ago and now you want to know which hotel, airplane tickets, etc when you already went to Detroit before?

I would like to remind you that it's VERY dangerous going to Detroit alone. The crime rate is astromically high and I advise you to go with someone you know (helps a little) but not much. I've heard horror stories about Detroit coming from my girlfriend and some friends, too.

Not really, it wasn't WWE only but Detroit hosted NFL Superbowl in last Jan 2006 and Auto show in every years then you need be fine to visit Detroit but just using common sense and be careful where you are go in area. I had been in Detroit with some friends in 2003 and we were fine to visit Detroit, also we have no trouble but night is too dangerous.

Just same thing that went in DC and St. Louis but they aren't bad as Detroit does.
 
I has been drive throught there twice. also my aunt used live there and she told a lot stories..:shock: I rather drive through there than just visit there unless friend or family live there
 
Yea, Detroit have nice neighborhood in some part but rest of them are gritty.

I dare you to drive through Gary, Indiana and to stay in a motel there! :D

I did. I and my ex roomie were so tired while driving to Ohio from Minnesota and my friend insisted on stopping in Gary. She regrets it now, cause the motel was soooooooooooooo NASTY!

I have been at Gary, Indiana.. my aunt's family live there. it depend on which area in Gary, indy.
 
I went to detriot many times in downtown at greyhound but scary shit of me..

Yes, I've seen so many people weird and crazy too... I kept postive and hurry get into the greyhound busline.. (chuckles)

I'm not afraid to visit Gary because I had been in South LA and Compton before when rode on light rail to Long Beach. I'm gut to throw all litter in Gary and make look like worst area.
 
Yeah.. Jeremy and I went through Gary, IN.. man it was nasty there and one of my deaf friends refuse to live there because high crime area!

Yea, I know, I should be fine in Detroit cuz I have been live in DC for 9 years and I always walking around or ride Metro subway during late night...

Forget it! My former fball coach at MSSD said he went to Gary, IN and almost got killed there, somehow his friend said he is my cousin and the gang in Gary said ok and let my former fball coach go...
 
Also suburb of Gary is much nicer and better than in city of Gary.

That's same thing went in Detroit, Birmingham, St. Louis, New Orleans and Flint since all of them are majority ghetto. East St. Louis is so so so gross and too ghetto since my aunt almost got raped when walked in gas station. :hyper:

farewell65, You know about Prince George County? It's seems uglier suburb of DC, mostly in inner of Prince George County.

Yea, I knew abt PGC, alot elementary kids live there... I almost never go there for shopping or any bs, always go to VA cuz they got nice place to shopping, also beautiful...
