The Chronicle-Telegram - Lorain county's leading news source

A young deaf woman said she was abducted and raped by two men early Saturday.

The woman, who is 19 and from Lorain, was at Uncle Vic’s night club in Elyria with a friend, she told police through an interpreter for the deaf from Lorain City Schools. Then, after her friend left, the woman was left without a ride and began walking down Lake Avenue at about 3:30 a.m.

As she walked, two men pulled up in a vehicle and asked her if she needed a ride, according to police.

After declining the offer, one of the men grabbed her by the shirt and forced her into the car, the report stated.

The men drove to a small brown house near Super Kmart on Leavitt Road, according to police, where the woman was taken into the house and told to take her clothes off.

After raping her, the two men began smoking crack and forced her to as well, the woman told police. They then robbed her and left her at Admiral King High School, according to the report.

Disoriented, she fell asleep near the school, the report stated. After she awoke, she said she walked to a nearby house, where she asked a woman there to call police.

The woman described one of her attackers as a bald Puerto Rican man with a mustache and goatee, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a large build. She described the second attacker as a skinny, clean-shaven white man with a wedding ring. The woman said she believed both men were in their 30s.
