Deaf woman killed in hit-and-run - Chicago Top News | Examiner.com

Milwaukee Police need your help finding the driver who hit a deaf woman and fled the scene as reported on WISN-12 News.

Annette Tomashaski, 58, died at Villard Avenue and 33rd Street Wednesday evening.

In a WISN 12 News interview, Friends said Tomashaski had good reason to use extra caution with crossing any street. “This is the second time getting hit by a car...” the victims friend, Johnie Davis, said. “They put pins in her arms and pins in her legs and a pin in her ankle.”

Tomashaski was visiting friends at Colonial Manor, Glendale, that evening. She took a cab home an hour before being struck by the unknown driver.

12 News was told Tomashaski had no family and they are concerned there will be no one to properly bury her.

Milwaukee Police are attempting to use evidence collected at the scene to indicate what make and model car hit and ran.

If anyone saw what happened that evening, please contact Milwaukee Police at (414) 935-7360 .

Sad. :( I hope they find the driver and who will bury her if no family bury her?
