It does not surprise me because there is no Cineplex-Odeon movie theater that provides subtitles or closed caption in CaptView devices in Quebec. As matter of facts, several Deaf people including one of my good friends, have had to drive from Montreal to here on round trip which is between 2 and 2 1/2 hours long each, so they can watch the closed captioned movies with CaptView devices at local Cineplex-Odeon movie theaters. A few times I went to movies with a few of them.
The sticky issue is Quebec's Bill 101 law.
