News Wales > Community > Deaf dog finds home
A deaf dog named Corky has been rehomed by Dogs Trust Bridgend.
His new home is with a family who own two other dogs, five cats and a rabbit.
His new owners say: "We were a bit apprehensive when we adopted Corky as we had never owned a deaf dog before and with so many pets we were unsure whether others accept him. But he fitted in straight away and we can't go anywhere without him, he even follows us to the toilet!
"Corky is accepted by all the family. We are all madly in love with him and we can't imagine what our life was like before he came into it".
Corky came to the Bridgend dogs' home in November 2007 from a local dog pound where he had been taken numerous times after being found roaming the streets.
Anyone interested in rehoming any of the current residents of Dogs Trust Bridgend should call the Rehoming Centre on 01656 725219.
