Hello, I am in a deaf culture class and need to interview a deaf person on their culture and life experiences. I wont use any names and just want to learn and understand the deaf culture better and of the below questions that you could answer would greatly help me out! Thanks!

What Caused your deafness-were you born deaf?
What kind of school did you go to? oral-mainstream-institution
Do your parents sign?
Is there a deaf club in your community? Do you attend meetings?
When did you start signing?
Are you married or dating a deaf guy? do you perfer deaf or hearing?
Do you have many hearing frineds? Why not or What challenges does that bring?
If you have children are they deaf or hard of hearing or CODA and sign with you?
Do you think technology has affected deaf culture in a good or bad way?
Do you have any adivce or words of wisdom for hearing people when working with/getting involved with Deaf Community?
What is one thing you would tell all hearing people about Deaf Culutre and Deaf people if you had the chance?
